New 2020 Planners From Ashley Shelly

The new 2020 planners from Ashley Shelly are beautifully designed with a feminine flair and soft color palette. The colors in this year’s collection are a fresh mix of light gray, navy blue, aqua, periwinkle, and dusty purple which now also carry throughout the inside pages and tabs. The four cover designs are Painted Floral, Blush Stripe, Gray Stripe and Black & White Herringbone.

All the planners have a hard coated cover with silver, twin-loop binding and silver corner protectors. The paper is 80 lb. bright white and great for writing with your favorite pens. The corners of each page are perforated to tear off when finished to serve as a handy built in bookmark.

Each planner features monthly spreads, horizontal weekly spreads, a front inside pocket and a clear zip pouch with an icon sticker sheet included. The upfront section is full of useful pages including planner tips from Ashley, an inspiration board to set your vision for 2020, favorite meal pages, contacts and yearly planning overviews.

Unique and signature to the Ashley Shelly Planner is the creative spread pages before each month. These pages act as your roadmap for the month ahead where you can really put pen to paper and outline things like gratitude, goals, self care activities and what brings joy into your life.

Get Ready For 2020 – New Power Sheets Launch

Get Ready For 2020 – New Power Sheets Launch

Do you want to put some power into your goals for 2020? That’s right, we said 2020! Even though you may still be making progress on your goals for this year, it’s not too early to start setting yourself up for success for next year.  The team at Cultivate What Matters just released the covers for their 2020 Power Sheets. And, they are gorgeous!

The Power Sheets are an intentional goal-setting planner, created by Lara Casey, that help you make progress towards your goals little by little each day. The proven goal process walks you through identifying what matters most to you in the big picture and step-by-step, page-by-page guides you through achieving them. They are not a traditional planner.  In fact, they are meant to be used alongside your planner to keep you on track with your goals.

This year, the Cultivate team decided to take it up a notch and bring you a new version of the planner to help keep you motivated and inspired everyday. There are so many exciting updates and upgrades including new hard covers in four amazing color options – Pink Linen, Blooms, Teal Linen and Confetti.

Besides the beautiful cover designs, the new Power Sheets feature a durable gold coil binding for easier page turning, gold corner reinforcements to protect it, gold foil accents inside and out as well as a new interior pocket and larger text for easier reading.

But as the Cultivate team likes to say, the real magic happens on the inside. This year, the signature prep work at the beginning of the planner has been streamlined to be more intentional plus new features and pages have been added to the monthly sections to give you a “clear vision” (this year’s mantra) for 2020.

Even more exciting than all the updates are the accessories! There will be fifteen accessories as part of the 2020 collection, each designed to compliment the covers and help you with your goal setting experience. And in case you are curious, here are the color details about the coordinating interior covers and pockets.

If you order your Power Sheets on launch day, you will have them in plenty of time to participate in the prep work week (starting December 9th), where the team guides you through getting started on your Power Sheets for the new year. There will also be two exclusive offers including money-saving bundles. The price for the Power Sheets is $60, only a two-dollar increase from the previous year.  There will also be a six-month, undated version available at the end of this year with its own unique cover design.

A full collection guide, including more details about the interior pages and all the accessories, will be available on October 9th.  The 2020 Power Sheets will be available to order on October 16th at 10:00am EST . Visit @cultivatewhatmatters to follow along with all the fun for the launch.

The Happy Planner 2020 Launch

The Happy Planner 2020 Launch

The 2020 launch of The Happy Planner products is live today in their online shop and rolling out in major retailers (Micheal’s, JoAnn’s, Hobby Lobby and Staples) over the coming weeks. And, we are totally here for it!  With hundreds of new products, collabs with Teresa Collins and Rongrong DeVoe plus two weeks of anticipated reveals our planner hearts are so excited! In case you haven’t made your wish list yet, we’ve put together some quick highlights to get you planning a happy life in no time.

Let’s get started:

Happy Planner Girl

Happy Planner Girl

The Happy Planner Girl is a group of five curated collections of planners and accessories that are designed to embody a specific lifestyle. With creative artwork, functional layouts and unique designs, this year’s girls include Homebody, Encourager, Happy Hostess, Stargazer and Glam Girl. A change from previous years, there is no longer an actual rendering of a girl on the products.  Each of the five collections include deluxe planners, with the coveted metal discs, sticker books and a variety of fun, coordinating accessories.

Teresa Collins Happy Planner

The Happy Planner x Teresa Collins collab includes two planners (classic and big) that feature gorgeous artwork, empowering quotes and functional vertical layouts. They are designed to coordinate with the products from the recently released Teresa Collins Be Happy Box while incorporating her signature design style and color palette. The new planners can work beautifully in conjunction with the exclusive guided journal and other products from the box.

Happy Planner Rongrong

The Happy Planner x Rongrong collab is all about the classic, the mini and the skinny!  The 2020 release has two classic planners (vertical and dashboard), two mini planners (dashboards and horizontal) and four new skinny planners. The new skinny classic planner is a take on the growing fauxbonichi love. It is the height of a classic planner but the width of a hobonichi weeks planner (same as the slim happy notes). But the skinny also features a fully dated horizontal layout inside!  Plus, if you missed something from the last Rongrong collab, this release will also include a restock of those loved favorites.

Happy Planner 2020

Now let’s talk about the rest of the products that are launching for 2020:

HappyPlanner Stickers

Stickers, stickers and more stickers are coming! The new product line includes three MEGA value pack sticker books with one hundred sheets of stickers in each. Sixteen new value pack sticker books, including one for each season (winter, spring, summer and fall) plus two for Christmas (classic and mini), other popular favorites (Colorful Boxes and Color Story) as well as some new additions (Nurse, Dream Seeker and Horizontal) just to name a few. New this year, are the enamel stickers which are part of The Happy Planner Girl collections.

Happy Planner 2020 Accessories

New accessories coming out as part of the product release include three boxed kits (pastel, fitness and happy rainbow) overflowing with goodies like happy notes, folders, dashboards, value pack sticker books, tiny sticker books, filler paper and washi. There are also two new 2020 wall calendars and a newly-designed Christmas extension pack that will keep you organized and in the spirit for the upcoming holiday season.

There is so much happy in this release it will be impossible to choose just one!

SGS New York Planner Conference

SGS New York Planner Conference

The 2nd SGS Planner Conference was held in New York City and hosted by Diana Velazquez @sugarygalshop with her amazing team on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th. Planners from our community (near or far) gathered at the Westin in Times Square to share their love of planning and connecting with each other. The conference offered the perfect mix of speakers, workshops, shopping, raffle prizes and mingling with planner friends.

The Speakers

So many great speakers from our community shared their stories and experiences throughout the day.

To kick off the morning, Teresa Collins delivered an empowering keynote presentation that encouraged us to chase our purpose. Everyday choose to build yourself up to your full potential and be your best self. Know that you are ENOUGH and train your brain to believe it.

Kayla Benda of OH, Hello Stationery Co. welcomed us into the world of planning in a TN (traveler’s notebook) and making it work for you. Starting from the basic lingo and sizing, Kayla gave an informative and fun presentation about the TN style of planning and explained how traveler’s notebooks are the most “forgiving” style of planning because you can always switch it out for a new one. She shared how she uses her TNs to memory keep without the pressure of scrapbooking.

An a-list panel of shop owners, moderated by October Day @televisontrainwreck, featured Cain Anderson @printpression, Chaz Jorgenson @shamelessstickers and Jen Jagielski @plannerfairy. The panel shared the experiences and knowledge they have gained from running their planner shops and how to keep the passion going. They discussed how to stay true to yourself, follow your heart and don’t let it define your self worth.

Julie Garza @julies_plans shared how daily planning helps with setting up successful days. Building routine habits that work for you can lead to success. Use your daily planner to set your intentions and purpose but know that it needs to be flexible because it is not a guarantee.  Don’t be afraid to migrate your tasks to the next day and not see them as failures.

Cindy Arce @thequeenpea tackled the topic of finding planner PEAce. She showed us that all it really takes to plan is a piece of paper and pen.  Planner peace doesn’t come from the type of planner you are using but from finding peace and balance in yourself. Only put three tasks in each area of your life (work, home, faith, etc) per day to prevent overwhelm and stay productive.

Samantha Kuhr from Erin Condren encouraged us to embrace gratitude journaling and all the benefits if can bring into your life. It can help us be more mindful and present, it’s a good way for us to reflect and check-in with how we are doing and also can serve as a great memory book later on. She also encouraged us to share gratitude and praise to lift up others and not be negative.

The final presentation, given by Jessica Chung for Contact Crafts, was interactive and demonstrated how to use stencils in your planner. Everyone received their own stencils, stamps, inks and a special brush. It was surprisingly easy to use as well as fun to see what we were able to create.

In addition to the fabulous speakers, attendees were also able to participate in a real scavenger hunt on Friday evening hosted by Planners & PJ’s featuring Planner Fairy. On Saturday, there were two additional workshop add-ons for Cocktails and Calligraphy with Jessica Chung and Doodling with Mommy Lhey

The Vendors

During the breaks and delicious lunch, attendees had the opportunity to take advantage of shopping with so many fantastic shop owners that were vending at the conference including, Lights Planner Action, Planner Fairy, Pegatina Plans, The Gootzie Project, Mama Jene Designs, October Day Creations, Teresa Collins, Indy & Ivy Ink, The Queen Pea, Contact Crafts, The Pink Room Co., Paper House Productions, Sugary Gal Shop, Ink Road Stamps, Mommy, Me & I and Planners & PJ’s

The conference ended with a fun Karaoke Night Party with Mommy Lley, hosted by Diana. It was a great time and we all can’t wait for next year!
