JMB Living was founded by Julie Barlow as a way to help women become more joyful, mindful and balanced in their everyday lives. Through her own personal journey and life traumas, Julie has done the work and learned that we are in control of our thoughts and finding happiness for ourselves. As a former yoga instructor and coach, Julie has led several unique retreats all around the world but it wasn’t until she decided to leave her successful corporate career that she became fulfilled. Unsure of how the path would unfold, she embarked on the journey of creating JMB Living which focuses on helping women live their ideal life.

JMB LIVING JOURNAL
Although Julie has always used a planner, she never quite found one that was the right fit. She always wanted something more, something that would continue to inspire her and keep her coming back. The JMB Living Journal does all of those things in one. Part planner, part journal and part magazine, it is beautifully designed and seasonally focused on living your best life. Filled with intentional prompts, guided journaling exercises, habit trackers, monthly and daily planning pages as well as editorial spreads, it encourages you to recognize the beauty and joy in everyday moments.
The journal is an incredible tool which gently guides you into creating a “mindfulness muscle” that becomes part of your daily habits and routines. Each quarterly edition dives into the specialness of the season, both visually and conceptually, to help you align your dreams, intentions and goals with the world around you. At the beginning of each month, there is a page to write steps (intentions) you will take to get closer to your dream life. There is also a monthly habit tracker and ideas page. Before each week begins, there is a reflection exercise, focus theme and mindful moment challenge. Following are daily pages that are very intentionally designed with prompts for positive affirmations, gratitude, abundance, self-care and joy. Within the planner pages are beautifully placed editorial spreads featuring quotes, insights and amazing stories from all types of women.
SUMMER JOURNAL: MINDFUL MOMENT CHALLENGES
For summer, there are 13 weekly Mindful Moment Challenges in the journal that encourage you to embrace all that is good in the season. It is a time of slowing down and relaxation. According to Julie, it is the ideal time for outdoor activities that bring peace, joy and rekindle the light-hearted, free spirit of the inner child.
