Since first opening an Etsy shop in 2013, She Plans founder Ashley Staum, has created many different types of planners from coils to sewn books and from inserts to printables. Now for the new 2021-2022 collection, Ashley is launching into new territory with the creation of a disc bound daily planning system that is half letter size. It her way of offering more customization and also integrating the printable portion of her shop.
Ashley is a total planner girl at heart and definitely enjoys planning on paper. She began designing her first planners in Excel back in college when she couldn’t find what she was looking for in the stores. Her first planners, mostly printables, became very popular with family and friends. So after getting married and having her four children, she decided to take her graphic design to the next level and created the She Plans brand. Over the years, the planners have evolved but have remained true to the purpose of keeping your weeks simple and your days intentional.
We talked one-on-one with Ashley about the new collection and her purpose for designing planners that help you be more intentional and less overwhelmed. Take a listen to our chat below:
The new disc bound planner features a daily layout with a full page for each day (including Saturdays & Sundays) as well as weekly overviews, monthly spreads and goal setting throughout. The planner is half letter size and can be purchased as a complete set with covers and tabs or individually as just the inserts. It is dated July 2021 – June 2022 and printed on #70 paper. There are two cover options, Navy Floral and Camel Floral with a protective frosted poly cover overlay. There is also an add-on option for (50) additional notes pages. Plus, all of the pieces can also be purchased unpunched so you can ring punch or coil yourself.
The planner includes a very intentional goal setting system. The upfront introduction allows for vision planning and brainstorming goals which are then broken down and woven throughout the planner pages. The system centers on “focus” goals which you set every six months. At the beginning of the planner, there are worksheets to help you get started, in the middle of the planner there is a refresh area which helps you refocus for the rest of the year. Plus there are worksheet dispersed into each quarter and month to keep you on track. It is designed so you don’t just set it and forget it but rather it guides you from vision to actually taking action.
