Behind The Shop - Cafecito Designs

Behind The Shop is an ongoing series that features our talented and devoted shop owner community. Each time, we talk one-on-one with a shop owner/s to hear first hand what shop life is all about. Whether it’s a new shop that just came onto the scene or a popular community favorite – we want to share more about their journeys and stories with you.

Cafecito Designs started as a dream for a SoCal planner girl, Linda Hernandez. Linda was always drawing and doodling in her school books and really fell in love with adding this creativity to her planner. After discovering the planner community and decorative planning, Linda decided to take the leap and open a sticker shop of her own in 2020.

In the past two years, she has been able to grow her shop by offering new bi-monthly collections that feature stickers, coordinating washi, accessories and more. Linda has also branched out into other products featuring her cute designs and she is only just getting started.

We spoke with Linda all about how she started her shop, new products and what’s to come for Cafecito Designs. Take a listen below:

CAFECITO DESIGNS

At the heart of Cafecito Designs is another one of Linda’s passions - coffee - hence the name. Many of her collections feature coffee doodles perfectly complimented by a planner or a pan dulce. Can you think of a better pair?  Her releases feature a full range of coordinating products including stickers, washi, sticky notes, die cuts, journaling cards and sometimes apparel. The shop even has an apparel section which includes a variety of cute and cozy t-shirts and sweatshirts.

For her latest releases, Linda offered her first “personalized” reusable sticker books as well as her first “doll” collection, called Como La Flor, which was a celebration of Latina artist Selena. Linda has also been a table sponsor at planner events including the last Go Wild and hopes to continue to participate in other upcoming conferences.
