Behind The Shop is an ongoing series that features our talented and devoted shop owner community. Each time, we talk one-on-one with a shop owner/s to hear first hand what shop life is all about. Whether it’s a new shop that just came onto the scene or a popular community favorite – we want to share more about their journeys and stories with you.
First, we can’t say how excited we are to feature Marquita (Quita) for the second time. We first interviewed her for our Planner-preneur Series two years ago and it is amazing to see how she continues to build her brands online. She wears many hats on a daily basis, entrepreneur, planner enthusiast, organization wiz, influencer, creator, wife, mom and is without a doubt a woman of many talents.
Since we last caught up with Quita, her online planner shop (Little Miss Fancy Plans) has grown and expanded into a full lifestyle business, Fancy Plans Co., that focuses on providing tools to help women and men simplify and organize their life. Plus, her YouTube channel, At Home With Quita, has grown to nearly 200,000 subscribers!

FANCY PLANS CO.
Fancy Plans Co. has become a planner community favorite for all planning essentials and more. Starting with their print on demand library of planner inserts in a variety of layouts and sizes to their must-have accessories and tools to their themed boxes and vegan leather covers, the shop is a go-to resource for those wanting to build a customized planning and organization system that suits their unique needs. Based on Quita’s own unique planning style, Fancy Plans Co. continues to evolve and expand by offering a mix of the latest planner trends, functional stationery as well as lifestyle products that help bring systems and organization to everyday life.
Quita currently runs the business with the help of her husband (and family) from their basement/home headquarters. Plans for the future include an outside warehouse/office/retail space (ideally close to home) and building a support team. For the rest of 2022, there will be more vegan leather products coming to the shop as well as a new 2023 planner.
