Chicago Planner Conference 2023
The much anticipated return of the Chicago Planner Conference (CPC) will take place this November 3-5, 2023! The event, which hosts upwards of 500 planner enthusiasts, brands, shop owners and friends, has already sold out tickets for its alumni members. General admission sales start Monday, May 8, 2023.

THE HISTORY
The first CPC was hosted after meet ups for the Chicago Planners Facebook group had outgrown their local meet up significantly in size and needed a larger location. After a year of planning and assembling a team of admins/volunteers, the first event took place in February 2018. The unique approach of the conference offered something for everyone - from inspiring keynote speakers to shopping at the vendor marketplace (with 20+ vendors) to hands-on workshops to social events. While the conference continued to grow in popularity within the community, unforeseen circumstances of the pandemic caused a halt after the 2020 event. Now with much of the core team returning, 2023 is set to be an amazing year!
2023 CONFERENCE
For 2023, the Chicago Planner Conference will once again take place in downtown Chicago (Loews Hotel) but this year it will be hosted November 3-5 to give attendees a chance to enjoy the city during the more seasonal temps in the fall. The overall format and flow of the event will remain relatively the same but with all new speakers, workshops, vendors, fun events and of course swag! As a theme, CPC will be spotlighting evolution as it relates to our lives, changes in the community and in our planning styles since the last conference took place in 2020. Ticket holders will get the chance to select from two workshops in addition to the main stage speakers/activities as well as select table preferences for their seating. Saturday evening is Planner Night Live which consists of a variety of events including karaoke, make & take crafting sessions, a live podcast recording, planning sessions and more. The weekend will wrap up on Sunday afternoon at the main stage with final keynote speakers and swag. The CPC team has shared a tentative schedule, take a look below.
