Tori Artis Planners – An Interview with Tori Artis
We are so excited to share our next “Planner-preneur” with you! In this ongoing series, we share an inside look at people from our community that have poured all their creativity and inspiration into a “planner-related” entrepreneurial venture. This month we are talking to Tori Artis, founder of @toriartisplanners.
Tori had a passion for art and creating from a young age. After buying her first “real” planner as a freshman in college, she fell in love with planning but couldn’t find the right planner to fit her style. So, she decide to create her own that would combine her love of colorful art and productivity. Being a planner herself, she knew that staying consistent can be a challenge so she wanted to provide a product that was easy and fun to use. She wanted her planners to be unique and not require a lot of time adding stickers and washi to make them cute. Being based in Texas, Tori also wanted to support local small business, so she teamed up with a local illustrator and printer and got to work. Her vision was to create a design that could work for all women and help them feel inspired and motivated. Tori is extremely hands on and works on every aspect of the business from layout designs and cover illustrations to assembly, coiling and shipping herself out of her home garage. It is truly a passion and labor of love for her.

PRO PLANNERS
Tori Artis Planners are handmade with love by Tori herself. The Pro Planners feature twelve dated monthly spreads with weekly vertical spreads. Each month has its own unique colorway that is the same in all the planners. However, there are customization options that help you create a planner that is unique to you. There are over 30 one-of-a-kind illustrated covers to choose from. All the covers can be personalized and are removable making it easy to switch up the design plus there are fun add on pages/sections and accessories. The planners feature 80 lb. quality paper with 100 lb. divider pages and the vertical columns are 2″ wide (not the usual 1.5″). Additionally the metal coils come in three color options (silver, gold, rose gold) and can be upgraded in size to accommodate extra pages.
The dated 2021 Pro Planners were a complete success! Tori is currently working on new designs and products for the 2021/22 academic year release coming this spring/summer. You can join the newsletter to be notified.
ADD ON PAGES & ACCESSORIES
Tori Artis Planners can be customized to work for you and fit your unique style. A great way to do this is with add on pages/sections. She offers three different add on sections including business, travel and finance plus an option to add extra dot grid note pages as well. You can also choose your coil color from silver, gold or rose gold. Another way to make your planner your own is with fun accessories such as the coiled-in vinyl pouch and colorful keychains (handmade by @tutudesignsco) that clip easily onto the coil.
STATIONERY
In addition to planners, Tori has expanded into personalized stationery, calendars, notepads and journals. The products feature the same fun, colorful art that is found in many of the planners but can be personalized as well. The journals are coiled and the notepads come in a few sizes. Take a look below:
SUBSCRIPTION BOX
Tori also launched her first subscription box this winter, which sold out. She collabed with several shops to create a box filled with different products that are fun and functional. The boxes will be released quarterly throughout the year and the next one is already in the works.
In her rare free time, Tori is a photographer and works with young girls/teens and women taking pictures that help them find confidence and inner beauty. She loves to travel and uses that to inspire her art and design.
