Wild University - Sophomore Year
Wild U turns two! Wild University is the virtual online course platform and community created by Wild For Planners. Launched just last year (during a global pandemic), Wild U has provided a way for our community to connect and experience fun, new monthly content about planning, cooking, organizing, budgeting and so much more. Each month there is a new major and minor subject to “study” plus a library of ongoing content found in the Dip Llama Library. The private Facebook group (Llama Lounge) is where members get to watch lives, interact with their favorite “professors” (content creators), keep each other accountable and make new planner friends.
Year two is definitely going to be wild! We talked to Jazmine Franklin from TEAM Wild all about the exciting upcoming Sophomore Year at Wild U and some details about the Go Wild Conference happening in Anaheim this March. Listen to our chat below:
WHAT’S NEW FOR YEAR TWO
Sophomore year at Wild U will bring some exciting new updates and experiences!
Pep Rally & Spirit Wear – In September, to celebrate year two of Wild U, all founding members that renew their annual membership will be receiving and exclusive Wild U t-shirt and sticker sheet. November 1st kicks off “semester enrollment” which means the ongoing month by month registration will be transitioning to three months registration. Upcoming professors, majors and minors will be announced for the entire three months at the start of semester enrollment. Get ready to mark your planners with all the important dates. Plus, there will be a slight increase in price for new annual and monthly members to reflect the depth of content that is now available in the library for all new members coming in. But there is still two months to register and lock in the Founding Member rates and receive both the Founding Member Welcome Kit and Sophomore Spirit Kit.
Exclusive Simply Gilded Washi – Wild U teamed up with Simply Gilded to create exclusive washi rolls that will be sent to all new annual members enrolling from November 1st. It features the signature Wild U purple color palette and llama mascot. Here is a sneak peek at the mock up below:
“Year In Review” Video – TEAM Wild has put together a year-long compilation video, which will be shared with all current members shortly, to highlight all the special moments and amazing accomplishments that have happened for members in the last year at Wild U.
Affiliate Program – Wild U will be expanding it’s affiliate program to help give back to all those members that love sharing about their experiences. It’s a great way to give back to the community for spreading the word and bringing on new members. More details will be announced shortly as well.
UPCOMING PROFESSORS
The next three months of Wild U will be filled with amazing professors and content to give you all the fall, back-to-school vibes. Here is a sneak peek of what’s coming soon for members in Wild U.
Cindy Guentert-Baldo, @llamaletters, will be teaching a course on Doodling and sharing some of her expertise and lettering magic from her recent book – The Ultimate Doddle Collection. (September Major)
Irene Kwong, @simplygilded, will be diving into Working Through Creative Blocks to help members tap into their creativity and keep those creative juices flowing. (October Major)
Chef Mary Lou, @geeksandgrubs, from season 19 of the show Hells Kitchen, will be taking us into the kitchen and sharing some amazing and delicious recipes and cooking techniques in time for the busy holiday season. (November Major)
