PlannerCRUSH - January

We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes

CLUE: An OG but a goodie…

ANSWER: Kristin @kristinannplans

For Kristin, planning has always been a big part of her life. Back in elementary school, she enjoyed doodling, using stickers for assignments and tracking all the books she read. Later, in college and grad school, planning helped get her through. It seemed like she could do anything with a planner and a to-do list. When she started her career as a college professor, Kristin used a Filofax system to keep everything together and manage her entire life.

After discovering Erin Condren, she decided to make a switch because the planners were so new and fun. By 2014, Erin Condren planners were showing up in her classes and at local stores and Starbucks. She started joining Facebook groups (originally EC Fans, now Planners Gone Wild) and connecting with other people who loved to plan, use highlighters, sticky notes and stickers. She started decorative planning and documenting with stickers and has never looked back.

Kristin’s current planner stack is minimal but so inspring including a Hemlock & Oak minimal weekly planner for memory planning and a B6 Aura Estelle/Annie Plans daily planner for work, home and tracking everything. Her favorite planning essentials include good pens (Zebra Blen and Zebra Sarasa Dry Driftgrip), Mildliners, washi and stickers. She keeps her work and home planner pretty sticker free with just Mildliners and pen but her memory planner is full of the stickers she collects and uses to document and tell a story. It gives her a place to channel creative energy and have fun.

It has been an amazing journey, going on 10 years in 2024! Her planning has evolved throughout her life into something she shares on social media, a way to support friends (that make incredible stickers) and a way to connect with so many amazing people in the community she has met along the way.
