PlannerCRUSH - July
We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush? Here goes:
CLUE: Planners and journals are her love language…
ANSWER: Amanda Leigh @amandaleighplans
Amanda definitely loves all things paper. After finding the planner community in 2015, she started her IG account to begin sharing her process and inspiring others. Her journey began with a brief time in an Erin Condren coil planner which she quickly changed out for a Kikki K personal rings. Shortly after, she jumped on the TN trend and used a pocket size Foxy Fix for awhile until finally switching to pocket rings, which is still her current favorite. She fell in love with decorative planning and cute pastel characters but it wasn’t until she gave minimal planning (Cloth & Paper) a try that she found planner peace! These days, Amanda keeps her planning style functional (pocket rings and an A6 notebook) with neutral colors, vellum dashboards and a variety of inserts. She is a huge advocate for trackers in your planner to keep on top of things like medications, sleep, shopping and more. Her must-have essentials include transparent sticky notes and stickers and black pens.
Her paper obsession has led her to venture into the world of collage journaling. Amanda currently switches between three journals (passport, A6 and standard size) which are all made out of handmade papers from all over the world. It has allowed her to really embrace her creative side with layering different papers, wax seals and other ephemera on the pages. Each journal is more beautiful than the other one, like mini scrapbooks of art. Take a look at some of her recent flip-throughs and set ups below.
