PlannerCRUSH - June

We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes:

CLUE: Planning and journaling is a work of heart…

ANSWER: Shelby @shelbyonpaper

Shelby is a true journal lover at heart. She has been in love with all things journaling and stationery since a young age. Throughout middle school and high school, she would always carry some sort of journal (or personal diary) for capturing random musings or an actual planner for daily events. But last year is when she began to really embrace it more as an adult. She found the planner community online through Instagram and was so excited to find others with the same likes and interests.

Planning and journaling go hand in hand for Shelby, especially in Hobonichi planners (her preference). She really enjoys using the daily pages to make creative spreads about whatever is going on that day. Being creative lets her slow down and just think - pen to paper. Everyday is different and there is no need for perfection on her pages.

Her current planner stack is simple. It includes the Hobonichi Techo A6 (daily to-do’s and memory keeping), the Hobonichi Weeks  (events, everyday plans, and habit tracking), and the Archer & Olive 8x8 notebook (book journal). Some of her favorite planning and journaling essentials include Pentel Energel Clena (for everyday use), Zebra Mildliners (especially the double ended Brush Pens for doodling, coloring, or hand lettering), Canon Ivy Mini Printer (for adding a personal touch to journal spreads) and stickers (for adding fun pops of color to pages).
