We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes:

CLUE: Decorative but functional…

ANSWER: Ester @plan.ester

Ester started her planning journey during high school, when social media was not really a thing yet. Even though she didn’t have planner stickers, she embraced a decorative style of planning right away. She would cut cute images or graphics from magazines and wrapping paper to use with glitter glue and markers.

In 2018, she found the planner community (by accident) when she purchased her first sticker book from The Happy Planner. Her planner at the time was from Blue Sky but she noticed that the stickers were formatted to fit perfectly somewhere else, so she went online and found The Happy Planner Instagram. Inspired by the community (Kellofaplan and Planning With Bumble at first), she fell in love with all the creative ways to decorate and use your planner.

Now, years later, Ester is still absolutely in love with the disc bound system and all the ways it helps her stay organized and be creative. She keeps on task and tracks her health with a Classic Happy Planner, Daily Grind Inserts and functional journal inserts from Etsy. Although she loves decorating her planner, her main goal is to plan and make sure it is functional.  Some of her favorite planning essentials include stickers, scissors, tweezers, and ZIG dot markers! She enjoys buying and collecting planner supplies but doesn't like to hoard. She typically chooses a theme and uses several stickers around that theme to make sure her sticker books and supplies GET USED!!!
