We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes:

CLUE: Planning is the “highlight” of her life…

ANSWER: Shantá @simplyshantas_plans

Shantá’s love of planning began at a very young age when the matriarchs in her family introduced her to a color coding system on their family calendar.  Throughout elementary school, she kept a planner for school and would even help her classmates organize their planners.  In 2013, after graduating college, she received her first Erin Condren planner from her mother which led her to find the planner community.  Then in 2020, she decided to share her planner journey and created her Instagram and YouTube accounts. Planning has become a means to keeping her life organized, coping with anxiety disorder, creating and connecting with others.

As a special education teacher, Shantá uses an Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner for work along with a few other planners like an Erin Condren Hourly LifePlanner for memory keeping/creative planning and a MäkseLifēPlanner for goal setting and progress monitoring. For daily planning, she switches things up and has tried several different styles including a Go Getter Girl Planner, a Plum Paper A5 daily planner, a Erin Condren Daily Duo (7×9 & A5), Plan With Laur x Bloom Planners Daily Notepad and other notepads. Her planning essentials include  mildliners, Pentel Energel Infree, Cutter Bee scissors, a ruler, whiteout and tweezers plus stickers, washi tape, and photos.  Shantá hopes to inspire others and bring joy through sharing her functional style and love of creative and decorative planning.
