PlannerCRUSH - October

We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes:

CLUE: Paper is thicker than water…

ANSWER: Jessica @sailorette.plans

Jessica began her planner journey as a way to document her sailing adventures with her husband. Together, they sail around the world (literally) and spend their days living on their boat full time. Back in December 2020, Jessica purchased her first planner from Erin Condren just before their maiden voyage. Inspired by her hometown Florida friends, she enjoyed watching their planning sessions and seeing how creative and cute their spreads were. From there, she went down the YouTube planner community rabbit hole (specifically @glamplanner and @planningwithbumble) and fell in love with all things planning and stationery related.

Planning is definitely a form of self care and ME time for Jessica. She uses her Erin Condren 7 x 9 neutral vertical layout to memory keep sailing adventures in a scrapbook style by journaling and pasting memorabilia from maps, tickets, tags, receipts and more. Although Jessica loves using and mixing different mediums into her planners such as washi and PET tapes, scrapbook paper and little 2x3 photos printed from her Canon Ivy photo printer, stickers are by far her must have planning essential. She is totally sticker obsessed and not afraid to admit it. However, she would love to start experimenting with inks and oxides as well if she can clear some space in her stash on the boat.

Life on the boat also includes some traditional planning in addition to memory keeping. These days, Jessica’s planner stack also includes a Happy Planner Classic Vertical to help keep everyday life and to do’s organized along with a Happy Planner Classic Dashboard Planner for social media planning. She enjoys being creative in all the her planners and each one features a very fun, colorful and decorative style of planning.

Follow along with Jessica on her planner journey and sailboat adventures on Instagram and YouTube to find more inspiration.
