We are so excited to share our next “Planner-preneur” with you! In this ongoing series, we share an inside look at people from our community that have poured all their creativity and inspiration into a “planner-related” entrepreneurial venture. This month, we are talking to a family business of three sisters that decided to invest in their vision of creating products that empower and support women. Sisters, Shenequa, Teisha and Rochelle are the founders of Cadash & Co. a stationery and planner brand based in New York.
In the midst of a global pandemic, three sisters came together and started a brand focused on celebrating and empowering women inclusively. Cadash & Co, founded by Teisha, Shenequa and Rochelle, was started to help women juggle their busy lives while still prioritizing their own self care and goals. As female entrepreneurs, they know first hand how important it is to create a work/life balance. Each sister brings their own unique perspective based on their skills, interests and age which collectively help create products that are functional and relatable to women in any season of life.
At the heart of Cadash & Co is creativity, self care and organization. Shenequa, who is the Graphic Designer, is responsible for the vibrant, beautiful images of diverse women found on all the products, website and more. While Teisha and Rochelle focus on the business and marketing side of the brand. Together, their goal is to provide products and intentional tools that are a vessel for women to manifest the life they want.
We spoke with Teisha, Shenequa and Rochelle about their vision for Cadash & Co, what their first year in business has been like and how they manage business as a family. Listen to our chat below:
THE PLANNER
The “Master Plan” Planner is just that – an all-in-one place to keep everything you need to organize your life. The 12-month undated planner is designed with monthly and weekly spreads in a vertical hourly format. It features additional space for bill tracking, self care, manifesting, intentions, goal setting, vision board and more. The planner has 120 gsm paper with a gold wire-o coil and hardcover. The artwork throughout the planner, created by Shenequa, reflects real women of different cultures in real life moments.
ACCESSORIES
Cadash & Co also offers planning accessories such as planner pouches, sticky notes, planning pads, notebooks and journals. All of the products incorporate complimenting designs and vibrant colors that work well together.
ART & DECOR
The beautiful images of women also easily translate to other products which has allowed the brand to expand their product categories. The designs can be found on art prints, pillows, mugs and wall calendars. Currently, they are very excited to be working on a line of greeting cards which reflect the same look, feel and empowering message as the brand.
