PlannerCRUSH - August

We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes

CLUE:  Simplified plans are the best plans…

ANSWER: Lisa @lisalovespaper

Lisa found the planner community after buying the book "Grace Not Perfection" by Emily Ley on a whim. She instantly fell in love with the message, but also the aesthetic of all the pictures inside the book.  She purchased her first Simplified weekly planner, joined their Facebook group and hasn’t looked back.  She felt such a strong connection to the other women in the group  who loved planning, organization, and paper as much as her.  In fact, last year a Category 4 hurricane ruined her home, car, job, and county, but her planner friends helped her through it and Simplified even replaced her planner with a brand new one.

She started an Instagram account after being so inspired by others in the community and ultimately began posting her own planner spreads. It was easy to share her planner because she was using it everyday along with all the beautiful products she loved.

For Lisa, planning is essential. It helps calm the chaos in her head and gives her a safe place  to write things down and clears up valuable mental space.  Decorating the pages has become very soothing, relaxing routine and a great creative outlet for her. She is especially hooked on daily planning because it has plenty of space for to-do's and endless lists plus it's a fresh start every day!

In addition to her Simplified Daily Planner (Navy Blue Bonnets), Lisa likes using washi tape, stickers, magnetic page markers, white post it notes and pouches to keep everything organized along with her white rolling cart from Michael's. She loves experimenting in her planner, trying new things and encourages others to do the same. It's just paper! Eventually you will find your style and pretty supplies make everything better.
