PlannerCRUSH - July

We are so excited to share our latest “#PlannerCRUSH” with you! In this series we share the planning style of someone in our community that we just can’t get enough of. We are talking about saving all the IG posts, scrolling the reels feed and binge watching all the PWMs. Each time, we will feature a clue along with a few planner pics to see if you can recognize our #plannercrush?  Here goes:

CLUE:  Functional can also be pretty…

ANSWER: April @georgiamomplans

April started her planner journey in middle school and continued throughout college. After graduation, she realized that writing down plans in the “real world” was also essential for keeping track of all the things. In 2017 when she started working from home, April began using a bullet journal to see her appointments and tasks at a glance.  It helped her focus and minimize mental clutter and to do lists. She found inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram for creating spreads and decorating. Several months later, she started her planner Instagram account and began using a vertical planner decorated with stickers.

She enjoys using stickers, markers and lettering in her planner. Her must-have planner essentials are a Sarasa Clip .7 black ink, a  ruler, slice tool and tweezers for stickers. She is currently using 5 planners - Plum Paper Vertical Priorities (functional everyday planer), Planning Roses vertical coil planner (decorative memory planner), B6 Rings (monthly task list, finances, reading log and shopping log with inserts from Lights Planner Action), Lights Planner Action coil planner (her son’s memory journal) and Lights Planner Action 5 year journal.

Having a functional and pretty planner is a huge part of her life. Every Sunday, she plans out the week with a notepad and then puts all appointments, to-dos and reminders into her Plum Paper using stickers and markers. Planning is a creative outlet that is also functional to help her keep track of things day to day. Although her planning style has evolved (especially after becoming a mom), she is constantly inspired by the planner community and loves seeing all the creativity they share.
